1000kg load rating provides an economical alternative to heavier load bearing castors. The ability to be towed at a 6kph by tugs and tractors enables Richmond’s 1000 Series to be used on mobile platforms, aviation trolleys, automotive assembly lines and production manufacturing plants. The polyurethane cast iron wheel type with a rolling diameter of up to 300mm not only enhances maneuverability but decreases rolling resistance. Like most Richmond heavy duty castors, our 1000 series has a precision machined ball race and high tensile steel kingpin to withstand side impact loads.

The R8069M3 by Richmond is a rigid frame castor and is fitted with a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This rigid castor is one of our 1000 series range and has a top load capacity of 1000kg. The R8069M3 is assembled with ball bearings on the castors axle. The rigid frame design of this castor is ideal for linear movement however steering can be achieved by using with swivel castors. The overall polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel diameter is 200mm, the wheel width is 50mm and can be ordered separately (PU876).
