Shipping Container Wheel Mounting Kits

These mounting plates allow castors to be attached to shipping containers. Fitting requires using two left-hand and two right-hand mounting plates.

Looking towards each end of the shipping container the left fitting marries with the left corner of the container and the right fitting marries with the right corner of the container.

When used with our 3000 Series castors, the shipping container may have a maximum total loading of 12T, and can be towed at a maximum of 8kph.

When used with our Extra High Performance Series castors, the shipping container may have a maximum total loading of 20T, and can be towed at a maximum of 12kph.

As shipping containers have 2 left fittings and 2 right fittings, 2 x 195CONT-LOCKITL and 2 x 195CONT-LOCKITR must be ordered in addition to your 4 chosen castors.

1 x Left or Right corner fitting
1 x Locating bush
1 x M30 bolt
1 x Flat washer
4 x M30 Spring washers & fasteners
