When performance and endurance are key concerns, the High Performance castor is world class. A large opposed taper roller bearing in the swivel head means the castor can be power towed at speeds up to 12kph over flat surfaces without obstructions. The steel passivated zinc plated frame is robot welded and a fully sealed greasable swivel head make this castor easy to maintain. Richmond’s High Performance Series is custom designed and manufactured in-house to specification.
The S818B manufactured by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with a semi pneumatic wheel. This swivel castor is one of our high performance series range and has a top load capacity of 1500kg. The S818B wheel is fitted with ball bearings. The swivel frame design of this castor allows the load to be steered. The outside diameter of the semi pneumatic wheel is 200mm, the wheel width is 50mm and you can order separately (Part Number: SG835).
