When performance and endurance are key concerns, the High Performance castor is world class. A large opposed taper roller bearing in the swivel head means the castor can be power towed at speeds up to 12kph over flat surfaces without obstructions. The steel passivated zinc plated frame is robot welded and a fully sealed greasable swivel head make this castor easy to maintain. Richmond’s High Performance Series is custom designed and manufactured in-house to specification.

The R656 manufactured by Richmond is a rigid frame castor and uses a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This rigid castor is in our high performance series range and can hold loads up to 1100kg. The R656 is assembled with ball bearings on the castors axle. The rigid frame of this castor is ideal for linear movement however steering can be achieved by using with swivel castors. The diameter of the polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel is 150mm, the wheel width is 75mm and you can order separately (Part Number: PU615).
