Yes. The GDR150 is designed with DIY installation in mind and comes as a complete kit that includes the motor unit, segmented rail and belt, wall and door brackets, connecting arm, mounting brackets, two GTR179 remotes (with batteries), manual release cable, and all required hardware.
Before installing, ensure your garage meets the minimum space requirements: at least 350mm of headroom above the door opening, 220mm of clearance on each side, and a minimum ceiling depth of 3,400mm. You’ll also need access to a standard 240V power outlet.
The GDR150 is specifically designed for residential spring-balanced sectional panel doors and tilt panel garage doors. It supports doors up to 15m² in area and 150kg in weight, with a maximum width of 5,600mm.
The included standard rail suits doors up to 2,400mm in height. If your door is taller, an optional extension rail is available for doors up to 3,500mm.
Note: This opener is not suitable for wicket doors (a smaller door within the main door) or installations in damp or weather-exposed environments.

As long as your door stays within the specified limits: Maximum width of 5,600mm, height of 2,400mm (or 3,500mm with extension rail), total area of 15m², and weight of 150kg, the opener will operate effectively.
Most standard double garage doors fall comfortably within these specifications.
Pairing a remote to the GDR150 is quick and typically takes under a minute.
Steps:
Press the CODE button on the motor (a dot will appear on the display)
Press your chosen button on the remote
Press the same button again until the display confirms pairing
The GDR150 can store up to 50 remote controls. Two GTR179 remotes are included in the kit.
To clear all remotes, press and hold the CODE button until “C” appears on the display.
Important: If operating the door remotely (without direct line-of-sight), safety photocells must be installed. This is required for compliance with AS/NZS 60335.2.95:2024, and features like auto-close will not function without them.
