Description

The S4478D by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and uses a polyurethane wheel. This swivel castor is one of our stainless steel elite bolt range and can safely take loads up to 100kg. The S4478D wheel is fitted with stainless steel ball bearings and is mounted with a bolt. This castors swivel frame allows the load to be steered. The overall polyurethane wheel diameter is 100mm, the wheel width is 27mm and can be ordered separately (PU4439). For the same castor without a direction lock, see S4478.

This castor includes a directional lock – This feature locks the swivel direction of the castor but still allows the wheel to turn. When the directional lock is released, full swivel function is returned to the castor. Castors with a directional lock are indicated by a ‘D’ at the end of the castor code, and feature a green pedal on the castor frame.
