A 1000kg load rating provides an economical alternative to heavier load bearing castors. The ability to be towed at a 6kph by tugs and tractors enables Richmond’s 1000 Series to be used on mobile platforms, aviation trolleys, automotive assembly lines and production manufacturing plants. The polyurethane cast iron wheel type with a rolling diameter of up to 300mm not only enhances maneuverability but decreases rolling resistance. Like most Richmond heavy duty castors, our 1000 series has a precision machined ball race and high tensile steel kingpin to withstand side impact loads.
The S6338 from Richmond is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is one of our 1000 series range and has a top load capacity of 900kg. The S6338 wheel is fitted with ball bearings. The swivel frame allows for full 360° swivel rotation. The diameter of the polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel is 150mm, the wheel width is 50mm and you can order separately (Part Number: PU659).
